There are a lot of problems in this world. It's tempting to say "It's too big, I can't make a difference." But when you meet amazing individuals overcoming absolute poverty and disadvantage to drive change in their communities, you very quickly realise that we, with all our relative wealth and opportunity, have no excuse to say "I can't." What we are really saying is "I won't". Let's say "We will" - Do what we can with what we've got and expect to see God do great things.

It really is a great idea. I've done this and it works (and I'm not an artist, my skills lie more in pulling events together). It is a great way to raise awareness and funds for causes you're passionate about. And if you can get contributing artists to work together on a feature piece that really tells the story or highlights your cause that can be auctioned off too, even better. Two thumbs up!
