Yesterday I got an email that I didn't expect, it was the first update about this campaing through charity:water. It says that the money I raise was sent to help thousands of people in the Tigray region of northern Ethiopia.
Also it says that in about 15 months, when the projects are complete, REST [Relief Society of Tigray] that is the local partner of charity:water will report back to us with GPS coordinates, photos and details about the community that you and I helped.
