Offering HOPE to a generation of young people living in London who seem to have lost it.

Description

Young people in London today face challenges every day of their life. Living in fear as crime and senseless violence continues to gain momentum. As TIME magazine cover stated 7 April 2008 when referring to the young people in London... “Unhappy, Unloved and Out of Control - An epidemic of violence, crime and drunkenness has made Britain scared of its young. What's causing the crisis?” - Time Magazine - 7th April 2008 In response to this growing trend we have produced a message & programs to encourage young people to start to buck the trends and the negative media perception and start to "care" for people in their day to day world. The I Care Revolution is the community youth arm of Hillsong Church London. We believe in every young person despite their race, religion, background or experiences in life. We believe that there is potential in the emerging generation and believe that we can help release the unique potential inside every young person by offering practical help with the issues that every young person faces every day. We Offer Three Levels of Help to Young People 1 - Engagement - Empowering Young People: Things to do and places to go. 2 - Participation - Supporting Choices: Information, advice and guidance. 3 - Contribution - Young People as active Citizens: Making a contribution.
