“Impacting with compassion.”

TURN A LIFE AROUND. In India, there’s an estimated 11 million homeless children, lacking most of the necessities a future requires. Today with Vision Rescue, we can pay for these children to receive an education.

Vision Rescue has been a part of the heart of Hillsong Church for a few years now, and we are already seeing changes take place.

Biju Thampy is passionate about the cause of helpless children. As the founder of Vision Rescue, he comes face to face with the horrific living conditions of these children every day – but he also gets to see the fruit of what can be accomplished with a little help from generous people like you and me. Like the fact that they have been able to medically care for over 7000 children and adults, counsel and rehabilitate more than 68 young drug addicts and send 138 children to school! But there is still much work to be done, and he can’t do it alone.

DID YOU KNOW:
- There are currently 300,000 children living on the streets of Mumbai and even with all the provided help, it is estimated that only 15,000 of these children receive any kind of attention and care… that’s only 0.05%.

Because of your support at Hillsong Conference last year, 277 street children in Mumbai were clothed through Vision Rescue, providing protection from the vulnerability of nakedness.

HOW YOU CAN HELP THIS YEAR:

Numbers can be overwhelming when we keep our focus on the enormity of the problem, but when we bring it back to the ONE, we can see how we can be the hands and feet of Jesus in our world. There is no such thing as an inadequate sacrifice.

For just $7, ONE homeless child, who once was forgotten, has schooling for ONE month in Mumbai.

One month! Multiply that by 12, and you can provide an ENTIRE year of education for a child for only $84. If you have a connect group, think of how easy that would be to achieve.
