This Means Love
By the I-HEART people2 Jul 2010
For one historic week at Sydney’s Hillsong Conference 2010, I-HEART is building “this means love,” an interactive space on the forecourt of the Acer Arena where you’ll be able to partner, as the Church, around God’s heart to meet the needs of people both locally and globally.
1. IF YOU’RE IN SYDNEY
Bring with you to this means love, a new pair of women’s or men’s shoes (any size), a new towel or warm blanket as we SUPPORT SYDNEY with the help of the Salvation Army and Mission Australia’s Mission Beat. These three items are what Australians doing it tough on the streets need the most this winter and what a great occasion we have as we gather next week to provide some relief.
If you’re not a delegate, but still local, join us at Hillsong Conference Nights. They get underway on Monday night the 9th of July with the opening celebration and run all week long. Everyone is welcome with FREE ENTRY. This will be a great opportunity for you to invite your friends to come and see the heart that God has for people. There is more info on these nights at www.hillsongconference.com
2. IF YOU’RE IN SYDNEY OR ANYWHERE ELSE
Together we’re going to see the impact of unity as we address some of the global needs of people in direct response to the gospel. We know that it’s God’s heart that everyONE eats, drinks, is housed, is clothed, is healed, is taught and is free; and it takes everyONE to reach everyONE. So we’re doing something as a community, together to help. It’s measurable. It makes a real difference. And when We’re all in this Together, we really can change the world.
So let's do something.
Give someone you'll never meet life saving water for 20 years = $20
Help rebuild a home after natural disaster = $20
Clothe a homeless child to help restore dignity = $20
Help fund equipment to prevent disease = $70
Buy a seat and desk for a child to sit and learn = $30
Help a human trafficking victim prosecute her perpetrator = $20
Because ‘when you love others, you complete what the law has been after all along.’ (Rom 13:8 MSG)

How i wish i could help through donations. I dont know how to donate money, or transfer money. :/

Re: This Means Love
I believe donation links are opening up soon for each of the causes (ultimately a link to donate will be available on each cause you click).
I'm only guessing, but that's what it looks like it will be.

Totally on board with this. We can't all do everything, but everyone can do something. A little from many often does more than a lot from few.
Praying for this!
