Well directed donations are probably the easiest way to help our hurting humanity. 

 So, make a donation to a charity of your choice. If you need a good place to start, here are a bunch of great places to donate to help HAITI. 

 - Donate something that you don't use; Donate old clothes, appliances, furniture, etc., to a local charity; your old computer to a school; books to a library; and so on. You could even auction items on Ebay and donate the money.

- Make a pledge to take action or donate money and encourage your friends to do the same.

- Donate food to a food bank.

- Buy food and make kits (with combs, toothbrushes, shampoo, etc.) and then distribute them to people who are homeless or through volunteering at homeless shelters.

- Redirect gifts; When you would normally receive presents, such as on your birthday or Christmas, ask your friends and family to donate money to your favorite charity instead.
