An extra lunch
HomelessnessInspiration
In Sydney, Australia where I went to school homelessness is very hidden. It’s a city of comfortable suburbs filled with kids that are often unaware of the needs of others in their community. Teenagers live on the street but live in the shadows. There is an often unspoken belief that homeless people deserve to be homeless – that they did something and created their own problem and should therefore use their own initiative to get out of their situation. But thats not always the case. I think we need to help.
How
Sometimes helping is in the easy things... Most of us eat lunch every day... so why not pack two... and give one away... to the person you walk past every day on the way to school or work - you know that person you might not notice anymore because you are so used to them being there?

Great idea Karla! It's so easy to do, and you never know how much such a simple gesture could mean to someone else.
