Make it Personal

Poverty
Inspiration
Where i live, people generally have more that what we need to get by. Many of us have things in our houses that we have never even used or worn.
There are communities only 10mins down the road that have the highest number of refugees in our whole country.
There are also many others who across our world who have so little to get by or even to survive.
We can sometimes be so close yet unfortunatly distance ourselves from such great need, yet also such great opportunity.
How
Its simply getting cretive with what is in your hands.
Find the things in your home that you dont use or wear... wether your forgotten art stash, a random t-shirt or your grandma's old curtians . Think of ways to alter or create something beautiful out of it.
Make t-shirt's, note-book's, a dress or paint a picture, whatever!
Then take it to your local market on the weekend and set up and stand with all donations going to those in need.
If you dont know how to get it to those you want to give to, just partner with an organization.
You can even grab some friends and have some fun with it.
(Or if you cant make it to the markets... ebay always works.)
Its a simple idea, but our fun may = someone else's freedom!
