Teaching 4th, 7th, and 8th graders in the city of Buffalo, I am often faced with the realities of poverty in a city that has an 86% poverty rate! Teachers are upset when students don't have their school supplies, yet many don't even have food on their tables everyday!

I need ideas for bringing food and school supplies to our school without offending the families of these children.
