I speak on behalf of Compassion International regularly. In August of 2009 I was at a music festival in western New York giving a presentation. One of the child packets I used on stage I had already seen that week at Kingdom Bound. The child was from Ecuador and I knew I would be heading there in just a few months...if I sponsored him I would be able to meet him and share with him the hope and love Jesus had given me.
What
I called my Compassion rep and he took care of everything. On Wednesday, Oct. 28th I met my new child, Juan, in Ecuador! We spent the day playing football and basketball. We had such a good time and were able to talk and laugh enjoying ice cream and other wonderful things throughout the day.
How
I sponsored a child through Compassion International and booked a flight to go see him!

I've been listening to Hillsong United since 2001 and have kept up with most of what they have going on. I heard about iheart just over a year ago. I was so excited for the release of the film.
Australia is definitely on my list of places to go. I know we're facebook friends so I will be sure and let you know if I head out that way.

I'm plan to go to Compassion Vision trip to Indonesia. And I also hope that there will be a chance to meet my sponsor child in Ghana. I believe I can meet him someday! Have a blessed time with your sponsor child!

when I went to the website compassion.com I just felt such a desire in my heart of sponsoring a child. I started to cry seeing all those children in need!

Hey, how was it, meeting your sponsor kid? I'm really really wondering about it because, I'm going to visit COMPASSION INDONESIA! My sponsor kid lives in Ghana, Africa so I can't meet him, but I can see the compassion children! YEAH!
It's awesome. It really is. I wish I had more words to describe it, but its just so hard to do so. I had an absolutely amazing time! I would go again in a second and can't wait until I do. No matter what I say I can't help prepare you for what is to come. Just be sure to take it all in when you're there and never forget!
