Intentional Community

Inspiration
There are many great intentional communities out there. The first one that caught my attention was one in Philadelphia called the Simple Way. A man there, Shane Claiborne, put out a book call the Irresistible Revolution. Check it Out!
How
Essentially, it is a group of people coming together in true community, living together simply so that others may simply live. Also, when I say true community, I mean something based in a relationship with Christ and each other, looking something like the first church in Acts. "All the believers were together and had everything in common. They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need. Everyday they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved." (Acts 2:44-47) "All the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of their possessions was their own, but they shared everything they had." (Acts 4:32)
