HomelessnessInspiration
It was a homeless person 5 years ago that changed my thinking.....
Me and my sister had just come out from the supermarket and I saw this homeless man. He looked quite fresh, but he had a lack of sleep, brown hair, 1.80 m, green jacket....25-27 years old! I thought to myself that he could get a job like everyone else, he is so young! So when he asked us for money this thoughts were showing in my eyes. I saw how humiliated he was and he said "Thank you anyway!". I became angry and I told my sister that I thought he could get a job and she said that she actually knew his story....
He was a quite high staffmember within a company that was dealing with computers. One day he started to have stomach cramps, so he went to different doctors but they couldn't find the fault so they perscribed him strong painkillers that would help against the pain. These ones worked really well, but the pain got stronger and he started to take more pills. Soon he was addicted and when the doctors stopped the prescribtion he needed the pills to be able to function as a person. He got into illegal painkillers and which cost him everything. He got thrown out from the appartment because he couldn't pay the bills. He still managed to keep his face at work, but when his salary didn't even cover the expenses for the drugs he started begging for money on the street. The boss found out about it and to protect the company's reputation he fired him. In this mess the church kicked him out as well.
From a high position in a known company, own appartment, food to miserable, begging for money and people looking down on him.
I never want to even think like that again, because I don't know what happened to the person sitting there.... Who knows what can happen??

How
Everyone has value!
The homeless person that's sitting on the side of the street.... Don't walk past him/her treating he/she an object! Everyone has feelings and imagine if you would be in their situation, what would you like people to do for you?? Every situation is different sometimes it can be food, sometimes friendship, sometimes clothes etc.
What can you do for this specific person?? Love people, wherever they are at in life.....
